Niagara Falls is a great place to call home, and while many locals have a great love for the outdoors, between June and August, many tourists begin to flock to the area. With an average summer temperature in the low 80s, it is easy to see why so many people flock to the popular area of New York.

While there are dozens of different restaurants and areas to explore within and surrounding Niagara Falls, there is one main area that seem to attract tourists the most, Niagara Falls State Park.

Niagara Falls boat tourThe Niagara Falls are composed of three waterfalls that pour into the Niagara River. With more than 400 acres of park space, you can enjoy a large range of activities within the park from biking, hiking, picnicking and of course, taking in the breathtaking views of the falls as well as views of nature and wildlife throughout the State Park.

One of the most popular features within the park is the ability to enjoy the sites from the vintage-style trolley. The Trolley stops along some of the most popular areas within the State Park including the Observation Tower. The Tower boasts panoramic views of the Niagara Falls, a view that is something straight out of a movie.

While most State Parks boast impressive Visitor Centers, the center at Niagara Falls has outdone itself. One of the most popular experiences within the center is the Adventure Theater where you can fully immerse yourself in a 4-D presentation where you can explore the falls like never before. Mist from “the falls” hits your face as the camera grows close, a 40-minute presentation that is a must-see for those of all ages.

The tour departs from the Observation Tower, from which the double-decker boat will bring attendees to see the power and beauty behind the falls. While the Maid of the Mist is a separate ticketed tour, tickets can be purchased from the State Park and the boat tour lasts for 30 minutes, giving you views of the falls you can’t access any other way.
